Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 04:01PM Okay, I'd like to clear up a misnomer about our business. So often, people say, "Cool, you get paid to fish and hunt!" That's just not true. Ron Schara Productions is in the business of gathering and telling stories. We use great pictures and strong writing to get the job done. In all, we produce seven different series of shows and we travel quite a bit for our work. I find the trips I'm a part of tend to blur together after awhile. Exactly why I drag along a still camera when I head out of town. I like to snap tons of photos. Nothing like sitting down two years after a trip and being able to look at the photos and be zipped right back to a great trip. Anyway, I digress. Photojournalist Cy Dodson just returned from a shoot in Oregon a couple of weeks ago. A revisit to fisherman Frank Moore's stompin' grounds. Anyway, Cy had a chance to snap a few stills on the trip and I figured you'd like to see some of his work. I won't write a thing. I'll simply post the pictures below. It's amazing how much of a story great pictures tell.. Fact is, we don't even need words to complete.....
